After breakfast, set off for a short drive to Lake Manyara National Park, where an exciting day of game viewing awaits. Your adventure begins with sightings of large troupes of baboons, a common and entertaining sight in this diverse park. Situated between the serene Lake Manyara and the dramatic cliffs of the Great Rift Valley, the park features an impressive variety of landscapes and ecosystems. Originally established to protect its iconic elephant herds, Lake Manyara offers visitors a memorable wildlife experience. In addition to elephants, the park is famous for its elusive tree-climbing lions, a rare and fascinating phenomenon. The alkaline waters of Lake Manyara are home to thousands of flamingos, along with over 400 species of birds. Hippos can often be spotted lounging in the shallows of the lake, adding to the park's rich biodiversity. After breakfast, your private safari guide will pick you up from your lodge for the drive back to Arusha. Upon arrival, you'll have time for some last-minute shopping, re-packing, and a relaxing lunch.
